Tilmann Dehnhard studied flute and saxophone at the Berlin University of the Arts and film music at the Film and Television Academy in Babelsberg. He has performed on CDs and in concerts with Sam Rivers, Steve Lacey, Evan Parker, Alexander von Schlippenbach, Till Brönner and others. He gives concerts and workshops for jazz and free improvisation in Europe, Asia and South America. As a guest professor at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Columbia he devised the curriculum fort he new jazz course. He lives and works as a freelance musician and composer in Berlin.
