Golden Lion for Wolfgang Rihm's lifetime achievement

On 30 September the Golden Lion for lifetime achievement for Music will be awarded to Wolfgang Rihm during the 54th International Festival of Contemporary Music.

Salzburg Music Prize 2011

The 2011 Salzburg Music Prize will be awarded to Friedrich Cerha. The award, with its prize money of EUR 60,000, will be presented to the composer on March 13th at a concert during the Salzburg Biennale 2011.
