400 children on stage at the Concertgebouw

On 24 May star violinists Janine Jansen and Aleksey Igudesman were joined by 400 children at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw to perform two pieces from Aleksey's new book Celtic & More Violin Duets. A memorable experience, both for musicians and the audience!

Aleksey Igudesman

Aleksey Igudesman was born in St. Petersburg and joined the Yehudi Menuhin School at the age of 12, studying violin and composition. From 1989 until 1998 he continued his studies in Vienna. Today he is internationally active as a soloist, composer, conductor and actor. His own works have been performed by renowned performers all over the world.
