Wien Modern 2013

Wien Modern, Austria’s biggest festival for contemporary music, runs from 24 October until 15 November. Find a full program here.

On 28 October, the Arditti String Quartet will perform the world première of Luke Bedford’s Wonderful Four-Headed Nightingale. Nigel Osborne has written his piece Espionage for Ernst Kovacic, who will present the work – together with many others that are dedicated to and written for him – on 1 November at the Konzerthaus, Vienna.

Portugal and Maniai by Johannes Maria Staud will be performed on 10 and 15 November, respectively.
