This 28 April, the BBC invites us to the Barbican in London for a day-long exploration of Arvo Pärt’s life and work through music, film and discussion.

Highlights include a choral concert in the atmospheric setting of St Giles Cripplegate and an evening concert featuring Tabula Rasa, the First and Third Symphonies and the Berliner Messe.

At the orchestral concert in the evening, Tõnu Kaljuste conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Chorus.
