Work introduction

This work was written in 1993 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Foundation of the University of Ulster.  Its sources of inspiration include an allegory by C. S. Lewis, paintings by Turner and Paul Klee and an image of the reflection of the sun on a lake from dawn to dusk.
