Biography
Pete Rose is America's leading performer of 20th century recorder music. He represented the U.S. at the 1990 Internationales Blockflöten-Symposion in Germany and his composition Tal/ Pwas commissioned by the Amsterdam LoekiStardust- Quartet and featured on their 1991 world tour. He has given recitals on numerous concert series in the U.S. and is a contributing editor to the American Recorder. He is the founder and initial director of Recorder Weekend at Westminster Choir College and has been a regular faculty member of the Amherst Early Music Festival/Institute. He has recorded for Opus One, New Wilderness Audiographics, and Pitch.
