Svitlana Roitikh is a teacher-methodologist, accompanist, and composer who was born in the city of Bender, Moldavian SSR. After graduating from the Tiraspol Musical College, she worked as a special piano teacher and accompanist at the Bendery Children's Music School. Svitlana wrote the methodical work "Development of Students' Independence of Thinking and Creative Abilities" which took the 1st place at the 3rd Republican review-competition of methodological work of teachers of educational institutions of arts and culture of the MSSR. She is the author of a collection of piano works "Musical Fantasies" and various songs.
"I became interested in composition when I was studying at the music college. While working on L. Beethoven's 1st concert, I composed a cadenza for this concert. I am inspired to compose music by my impressions of various events happening in my life."
