Muiñeira do Berce is a tribute to the two best-known dances of my homeland: the "Muiñeira de Lugo" and the "Muiñeira de Chantada", linked through an interlude; in this piece the cello evokes, from beginning to end, the majestic sound of the Galician bagpipe.
