Work introduction
M was inspired by Markus Lüpertz’ sculpture “Hommage à Mozart”. The title consists of a single letter, which in the Proto-Semitic alphabet draws the image of a wave, and which geometrically dictates the temporal line and form of the composition, which in turn reflects the connotations of the sculpture, especially their reference to the iconographic tradition of the “Three Graces”. Furthermore, M is an homage to the muse and the dedicatee of the statue in addition to a plethora of enigmatic insinuations.
