Biography
Theduardo is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He has performed in Indonesia as well as in Europe. Before pursuing his studies in classical guitar, he played cello in various orchestras in Jakarta, Indonesia. He finished his Bachelor and Master studies in classical guitar at Hochschule fuer Musik Detmold and Hochschule fuer Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin. During his studies in Germany, he encountered Flamenco and Brazilian music. He has worked together with Flamenco and MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira) artists in various projects, one of which is a hommage concert for the great Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca that was attended by his family member. In Berlin, he actively played Bandolim (Brazilian mandolin) in Roda de Choro and Brazilian events in the city. Theduardo has interests in other genres of music and also learned to play gamelan. As a guitarist, he plays solo guitar and in various ensembles. He wrote music and arrangements that has been played by other musicians as well.
About the music
I write generally for guitar and stringed instruments. My music has been mostly influenced by classical guitar, Flamenco, and Brazilian music. My arrangements of other music is a modern style, slightly influenced by pop/jazz music.
