Wien Modern 2012

In October and November 2012, Wien Modern is celebrating its 25th season. The opening of the festival for contemporary music, dance, performance, theatre, visual arts, film and video took place on 22 October.

Universal Edition is strongly represented at the festival, the works performed include two world premières by Friedrich Cerha, 9 Präludien and 9 Inventionen, Georg Friedrich Haas’ String Quartet No. 2 and Music for Orchestra II by Jay Schwartz.
