Pianist, conductor, composer, organist. He conducted concerts and concert-lessons, whether as soloist or in ensembles.Along with the concerts activity, he dealt with a dedicated composition activity in different fields, like the arrangement, the original composition, the pedagogy, pop music. Many of his works are performed in various cities. As conductor he worked with ICO Orchestra of Bari, Orchestra Lucana, Orchestra of Magna Grecia, South Symphonic Band, Aura Sonum Philharmonia Orchestra and other ensembles and as choir conductor.
About the music
The urge to communicate arises from an emotional imbalance basically dictated by a reflection on the flow of time. Time is the river of evolution; just as subjective time marks the transitions from one phase of the spirit to another, the flow of sounds and rhythmic impulses intersects with the elaboration and synthesis of initially distant elements. The musical texture is based on a recognizability capable of arousing movements of the spirit: therefore not a purely speculative operation, but a vaguely familiar sensorial stimulus that refers to memories, emotions, desires, questions. The elaboration of motifs and cells starts from a transformation operation that finds expressive modalities in the transitions of sections; the elements are therefore concise, recognizable, often dialogical, in a continuous alternation of proposals and answers that see their field of action in duality.
