Biography
Florian Bramböck was born in Innsbruck, Austria in 1959. Bramböck studied saxophone at the Innsbruck Conservatory, at the Musikhochschule in Graz, at the University of Miami and with Ivan Roth in Basel.
He was a member of the Vienna Art Orchestra for many years and has also performed with Saxofour, Gansch and Roses and Die Erben. He is one of Austria’s most significant Jazz musicians. As well as teaching at the University Mozarteum Salzburg, the Music Education Department in Innsbruck and at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, he is known as a composer of numerous chamber and orchestral works.
