Work introduction
Ad vesperum was originally composed for 3 clarinets in B-flat and piano in spring 2007. A few months later, "Ad vesperum" was heard in orchestral instrumentation as the 3rd movement of the three-part work entitled Hymnus pro lumen for clarinet, string quartet and string orchestra on 18 November 2007 in the Malakoff Tower of Prosper II in Bottrop with the Bottrop Chamber Orchestra under the musical direction of Kai Röhrig.
Another version for clarinet, violoncello, vibraphone, accordion and electric piano was premiered by the oenm . österreichisches ensemble für neue musik on 30 March 2017 in the large hall of the Künstlerhaus in Salzburg as the final piece of my full-length concert programme "TIMEDRIVER" with original works.
