Description

Berio liebt es, sich manchmal mit den alten Meistern und der Volksmusik auseinanderzusetzen. Nach einer Monteverdi - Bearbeitung ("Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda" UE13727) und den "Folk - Songs" (Partitur der Fassung für Mezzosopran und 7 Spieler UE13717) instrumentierte und bearbeitete er diesmal Boccherini auf köstliche Art und Weise. Fast spukhaft zieht die zapfenstreichblasende Madrider Nachtwache am Zuhörer, der sich an den Künsten der Musiker berauschen kann, vorbei.
