DANZA COJA

This work was commissioned in 1999 by accordionist Saša Markovic from Montenegro and was the first work with accordion composed by Luis Saglie. Since then, the accordion has always stood as a beloved instrument for the composer and which went on to take protagonism in several works to come, both as a solo instrument as well as part of an overall instrumentation. Danza Coja has been and continues to be performed world-wide. This has permitted the composer to come into contact with many accordionists of which, Miloš Todorovski from Serbia, has played a vital role in the final edition of this published score.
