Work introduction
This is the first of the orchestral / chamber music pieces called Estructuras. It was created in Geneva in 2016 and is inspired by the beauty of Eros, (the Greek mythological god of love). As in other works, in this piece I made a synaesthetic similarity with the cultural context in which I was located, in this case the inspiring city of Geneva; so the firmness of its blueness came to my mind and completed the inspiration of the work.
The material arises from a microtonal chord which I developed from Morton Feldmann's Coptic Light, in this case in a procedural way, inhibiting itself with the rest of the microtoned pitches. In the midst of all of them, the light of blue emerges with the voice merging with the instrumental music ... it is the beauty of Eros who develops his narrative in a theatrical modulation process.
