Work introduction
La Vita e bella (con un piccolo aiuto) was composed to honor the memory of the composer Cornel Taranu, one of my former teachers. The work wants to remind especially the lust for life, the joking character of Taranu. Thus, the work has the subtitle "four sonic supplements" including the flute, clarinet, violin and piano: part I - GINKGOBILLONE, AL TALLONE has an energetic character, the second part - LAVANDORMISSA has a more meditative character, including the olfactory organ in the reception process. The third part, ASHWASLAP, is based on the slap technique of the clarinet, the other instruments adopting close sonorities, and the last part wants to infuse large amounts of PRESTOSTERONE into the listener's veins.
The work is dedicated to the ATEM ensemble.
