Camino de Luna, For Baritone and Piano

This work is a concert arrangement of the celebrated chilean folk song, “Camino de Luna” with words and music by Luis Aguirre Pinto. The arrangement strives to conserve the essence of chilean folclore as portrayed through the original song while presented through a musical idiom of art song for the concert stage. This concert arrangement is set for operatic baritone against a piano arrangement depicting a fine balance between an implied folk instrumentation and an orchestral pianistic approach.
