Stockholm in this piece. In this solo for soprano saxophone, Victoria Borisova-Ollas paints a picture of the district which reflects its charm in idyllic nature, beautiful views of the city and cultural life. This
advanced-level work is dedicated to one of the world's best soprano
saxophonists, Anders Paulsson. It exploits the full range of the
instrument in flowing motifs, themes and detailed rhythms. Coupled
with an intensive design our curiosity about the island is awakened.
This contemporary composition makes use of traditional playing
techniques that allow the instrument to shine with virtuosity.
