Description
This work is a revised version of "Yugure" for flute and accordion (2023). The title "Yugure" is a Japanese word which means "Dusk" in English. "Yugure" also seems to have been adopted as a loan word in German (meaning "Japanese maple"). Meanwhile, its pronunciation [ju:gure] is close to the Japanese words "yure (to shake)" and "gure (to be unstable)". It also reminds Ikeda of the English word "Ukraine".
"Yugure" for flute and orchestra is found on CD: LVIV 2 [Phasma-Music 087] (Iwona Glinka, flute / Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Volodymyr Syvokhip).
