Description
These three songs emerged after a careful reading of some of the poetry books by Antoni Clapés, an author with whom I share a taste for the concise and essential form, often inspired by the emotions stirred by nature, and close to the Asian tradition.
The entire cycle was premiered at the Ateneu in Barcelona, featuring soprano Elena Copons and pianist David Malet, on June 28, 2023.

Espais que la llum perfora,
alè que la llum penetra:
paraules que enceten dansa
pels fils courats del capvespre.
Llum de neu davallant
pel pendís dels prats:
sorda memòria del glaç.
Una remor de silenci
s’alça del paisatge blanc -

molt més enllà
d’aquest instant.
