Description
Megadance, megabytes… was written for the Open Doors Barcelona Project. There are two main influences, in apparent contradiction, related to the chapel from Torre Girona, the place for which the piece is written: a supercomputer Mare Nostrum, hosted in the beautiful chapel with rounded arcades. These influences are musically expressed through rhythmic irregular patterns, symbolizing the computer operations, and rounded contours, the musical reflections of the arcades. These are the main musical figures that generate the whole work, imagined as a dance of the bytes inside the computer.
