Description
Written in 2014 for Guido Facchin and Patrizia Boniolo, Scambio di ruoli consists of four short movements. The percussion instruments of this work are: 4 tom-toms, a bass drum, a suspended cymbal, a triangle, and 3 plate bells or 3 tuned gongs (C2, E2, F2) or if the plate bells or the gongs are not available, 3 tubular bells an octave higher.
Scambio di ruoli is the second of two pieces with the same scoring (the first was composed in 2007 with the title of L'ago della bilancia).
