Description
Sonic wings is built on the idea of meeting polarities, of strong contrasts. The extreme parts of the work favor the installation of a suspended, etheric state. The small dynamics, the importance given to timbral changes, the harmonics of the viola are intended to direct the listener's consciousness away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life - a reflection of the endless Sky. The middle part, strongly contrasting, presents rugged rhythmic patterns - it wants to symbolize the connection with the Earth. The whole, the encounter of Heaven with the Earth is therefore the main subject of reflection.
Sonic wings is dedicated to Saša Mirkovic.
