In 2015, Shimamura Music Co., Ltd. opened a music school in Beijing. However, since there were no suitable piano instructional books available in China, the Shimamura Music was to create and publish in Beijing a piano instructional book for young children, and Ikeda spent 10 days in total to write 30 pieces, including some fragments. At that time, the editorial board members of the Shimamura Music imposed conditions on the content of each piece, but there were also some editing flaws done in Beijing, and in 2024, it was revised and published by Universal Edition in accordance with the pure aesthetics of the composer (permitted by Shimamura Music Co., Ltd.).
