Description
The piece is structured in two parts: the first part – energic – with a progressive losing of control towards the final section, and the second part – an exploration of the new sonic world opened by the cathartic previous part. The contrasting elements are very important if we’re looking at the macrostructure of the piece: first part with a predominant rhythmic character, the second part with a special interest in timbral combinations.
The piece is dedicated to MusikFabrikSüd Ensemble conducted by Bruno Strobl; it was performed for the first time on the 6th of November 2018 at Klagenfurt.
