Description
My way of composing is essentially based on clarity and brightness. I always try to make my intentions clear for the musicians who have to perform the parts. Mine is a tonal style that always seeks the pleasure of listening, the result of both harmonic and timbral research.
The “Enomis” Trio was written almost immediately after seeing a photo of my children playing. It is in fact made up of a leitmotif that always remains suspended harmonically and rhythmically like something that is removed from the passage of time, immortalized forever through a photograph. Music tells of the amazement and first discoveries of curious children who explore matter, sociality and their own abilities through play.
Enomis represents a state of mind removed from the chaos of everyday life with the precise aim of preserving, over time, the candor of childhood as only a photograph can do with images.
The musical instruments were used seeking both pleasant and refined tonal and harmonic mixtures, capable of satisfying both the needs and interest of the musicians and the pleasantness requirements advanced by the public from the first listen.
Each of the three instruments has been given equal role importance, and each is the protagonist during the various sections of the piece.
The unity of the piece is ensured not only by the homogeneity of the writing but also by the presence of some thematic elements that recur, alternating, throughout the unfolding of the piece.
