Innocentia
Duration: 5'
Choir: children's choir
Innocentia was dedicated to Maria Gyuris, the conductor of the children's choir from Ion Vidu National Art College. It is a bipartite piece, composed for primary school children.
The innocence of childhood, in the first part of the work, finds its sonic expression in a discourse in which the beauty of meeting of voices in drones is highlighted by the contrasting dissonances. In the second part - full of verve, innocence is reflected in a rhythmic speech in alert tempo, onomatopoeic formulas reminiscent of the meowing of the cat, the croaking of the frog, the barking of the dog or the singing of birds.
