Work introduction
This is my second orchestral work.
It is entitled 'Symphonische Verwebungen für Orchester, Stimme, Klavier und Perkussion' or 'Symphony No. 1'.
It has 4 movements and a duration of approx. 43 minutes.
It is my first symphony, was finished in april 2021 and revised in may/june 2022.
Due to the character of the work it may take before it will be premiered.
In the meantime this file will give you a good idea of the music.
I wove together (the translation of the German word Verwebungen is woven together) different microtonal techniques combined with classic harmonies, minimalistic techniques combined with non minimalistic melodies which are repeated throughout the work, rhythmical mininimalism as opposed to long melodies and chords.
It is composed for large orchestra so the numbers of players may vary.
(the sound sample is included to give you an idea.
It is a demo version as being played by Sibelius)
