Sonatine für Cembalo mit zwei Manualen (2020)

I composed the Sonatina for Harpsichord in the summer of 2020.

The piece consists of three movements.

The first movement, Allegro molto e ritmico, is as the name suggests, a rhythmic movement.

It should be played very precisely.

The second movement, Intermezzo - moderato is a fantasy consisting of the following elements:

Reality, "Shosholoza" (a mine song from South Africa used as a quotation in the movement), Memories,"Shosholoza" and the last faded memories.

The finale is a three-part fughetta with an "arioso" middle section.

The fughetta must be played very transparently.
