Description
In the time of myths and legends there was a City where all inhabitants lived in happiness and carefree. This City was located where today's Istanbul lies. Between two continents. The City was inhabited by people on earth and birds in the sky in perfect harmony. The reason for this happiness was a miracle. A giant watermelon that grew from the earth to high in the sky and dispensed blessings of every kind. But one August, just as it was about to be cut, the watermelon disappeared. Who stole it, how and why? No one had seen the thief, although all the inhabitants of the town were vigilant. The same thing happened in the following years, until the baker's little son, dreamy and fearless, took his flute and decided to hide in the watermelon up there to see and find out who the watermelon thief finally was, to catch him and bring the watermelon happiness back to the town. But the watermelon thief was neither a dragon, nor a monster, nor a wizard. He was a handsome young man who flew the god-like watermelon into his desolate state, an enchanted state with no children and no stars, no watermelons in his lap, no toys and no smiles. A wondrous friendship develops between the lonely young man and the baker's young son, who, through hard trials and sacrifices, brings joy back to the abandoned state and the heavenly watermelon to the city.
