Description
For almost a decade, the river Drava has accompanied me as an unbending and reliable partner in three musical network projects. All projects began near the source of the Drava in Dobbiaco/Toblach, followed the fascination of a rivulet that develops into a mighty river and ended where the river flows into the stream, the Drava into the Danube.
To this day, the Drava has kept me in contact with valuable friends as well as memories of exciting performances, countless stories and diverse landscapes. I will always be grateful to and remain friends with all the musicians, composers, poets, architects and employees who helped me to realised these projects.
„Kehrwasser" is dedicated to them and the river Drava.
The world premiere of "Kehrwasser" by the ensemble chromoson took place on 17 July 2017 in Dobbiaco/Toblach.
