Work introduction
“Duologue” is a twisted word coming from Dialogue. With this piece I tried to combine rhythmic and melodic motives as well as different textures, with the end goal of creating a harmonious conversation between the violin and piano where at the end of the piece both melodic and rhythmic parts are intertwined.
Also, with this piece I try to show in the short duration of this piece, different types of characters from Spanish inspired motives, very melodic (quasi romantic) to aggressive expressions and mixed meters.
