Work introduction
An old abandoned fountain in the park at Versailles, near the Grand Trianon. The water has not flowed through its pipes for ages, the marble is broken, the gold has faded and the monument is silent and asleep. A few echoes of old tunes from the time of Louis XIV still resonate inside the fountain. Then a providential fairy wakes it up, the water flows again, the marbles are rebuilt, the gold shines, and the monument regains its glory and beauty.
