Flow, my tears" (originally Flow my teares fall from your springs) is a lute song
(specifically, an "ayre") by John Dowland( 1563–1626). It was originally composed
as an instrumental under the name"Lachrimae pavane" in 1596,
This concert paraphrase is a contemporary reimagining of this instrumental version,
with the cantus firmus played by the flute, harmonized by the double reeds..
