Naiades
Work introduction
Naiades, according to Greek mythology, were nymphs associated with the freshwater realm, including springs, rivers and lakes. These magical beings had the notable role of accompanying Dionysus to his festive gatherings, where they played a vital role in fertility rituals. They danced gracefully and freely expressed their affection to deities and mortals alike. This enchanting dance served as the inspiration for this composition for 2 pianos.
