Poem for violin "Barefooted Soul.." is based on the poem "Barefoot Soul" by the Latvian poet Ojars Vacietis. Compositions has two redactions: for violin and piano, also for violin and percussions. Many Latvian violinists have included the piece in their repertoire, among them Magdalena Geka and Janis Bulavs.
