Work introduction
This composition for wind orchestra was written on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the birth of the Liceo Musicale in Sapri, a town on the Cilento coast. The thematic parts are reminiscent of ancient melodies from the area; the contrapuntal conducting is generally by joint degrees to favour the performance.
