Work introduction
This work has been fortunate in that two magnificent violinists gave the first performances: the Belgian-Portuguese-American violinist Eliot Lawson gave the premiere with pianist Dolly Eugenio Kessner at the Kessner festival at the Conservatório de Música do Porto in Portugal in 2013; then, the following year the American violinist Nancy Roth gave the US premiere with the same pianist at California State University Northridge. They recorded it for the linked CD soon thereafter.
The movements/sections are as follows:
Andantino-Allegretto
Cadenza; adagio
Tranquillo
Allegro Agitato
What is necessary to perform this work?
The piano part is a full score; the violin part and piano-score are all that is necessary.
