Single movement sonata in c minor. Opening allegro is in traditional sonata exposition format followed by a slow waltz, followed by an agitato section in 12/8 changing 5/4. An Adagio follows which eventually builds to the recapitulation and the original tempo. The entire piece is based on the original opening theme.
