The lyric neo - romantic Song of the Loon, was inspired by a
poem by Nebraska poet, Marjorie Saiser. It was written for
saxophonist Lawrence Gwozdz and premiered with the Omaha
Symphony Orchestra, Ernest Richardson, conductor.
