Work introduction
A work in three continuous movements exploring the magical sounds of the low flutes, in this case alto and bass flutes. It was written for the composer's friend, low flute specialist Carla Rees, founder of the ensemble rarescale. The premiere took place at the annual rarescale Flute Academy in London.
