Work introduction
This work was written for the Amarilli Trio in 2011 and was toured in Italy. It received it's London premiere in 2024. The three movements are short meditations or commentaries on the very intimate ensemble of the string trio. Like the title suggests they have elements of fancy peppered throughout, from a rustic interlude to a mock French Overture.
