Work introduction
To compose this work, I was inspired by a girl dancing in the night market of the city of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Written in a pentatonic mode, the composition recreates the sound atmosphere of the city. To complete the cycle, I have also composed another piece in the same mode, titled Chiang Mai Boy, which uses tremolos to create a contrasting ambiance to the present work.
