Work introduction
This composition was created during my early years as a student in Vienna, Austria, blending musical influences from both North and South America with a fresh academic vision within a traditional European context. It draws inspiration from four Chilean folk songs: Chile Lindo (Clara Solovera), Gracias a la Vida (Violeta Parra), Río Río (Osvaldo Silva), and Cocorocó (Nicanor Molinare). The work unfolds as a continuously evolving fantasy, interweaving distinct sections that reference these folk songs, while incorporating freely composed material derived from their motifs.
