Weiya Hao is a renowned composer born in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China, in 1971. He completed his doctoral degree at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where he now serves as a professor. Hao has been a visiting scholar in Italy and the U.S. and has composed various orchestral, stage, and other music works, including award-winning pieces and music for significant events such as the Beijing Olympics.
