Professor and Doctoral Advisor of the Composition Department at the Central Conservatory of Music, Dong Liqiang, was born in 1963 in Qingdao, Shandong Province. In 1990 Dong Liqiang graduated early with honors from the Composition Department of the CCOM, after which he was invited to join the faculty staff of the department.
