We are delighted to invite you to the first symphony concert of the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM, Beijing) in the Great Hall of the Wiener Konzerthaus:
‘Listening to China's Sounds of the Present’ will be presented by the CCOM Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Chen Lin, one of China's best-known conductors.
China's long history and rich cultural diversity have shaped a unique and deeply rooted musical tradition that is characterised by its originality and special style of expression.
Experience the world premieres of six contemporary orchestral works by important Chinese composers - musical impressions that will surprise you!
We are delighted that three Chinese UE composers whose works are published by Universal Edition are represented.
